POEMS :

GOOD NIGHT, IDY

Gently, you arrived the court of royalty
A tender flower, full of life and promise
You came as a harbinger of hope
A symbol of peace
The pet of the bouquet

Gently, you ploughed the seasons
And walked your firmament
With poise and grace
Exuding love to family and friends

Then, out of the blue…

A stormy gale arose in your bloom
With a cloak of sepulchre
That eclipsed your noon,
To exile your flame
Leaving behind sighs and sobs
Hiccups and heartaches

Idy…
(It is hard to say)
Good Night
