POEMS :

LOVE TANGLE

Is it the fragrant nectar
Of the blooming lily
That brings the lustful butterfly
To a restless tango?

Is it the sartorial elegance
Of the pearly petals
That attracts the insect
To cuddle the breasted anthers?

Is it the sticky stigma
Of the flower’s genitalia
That magnetizes the butterfly
To a lustful romance
With its flowery maiden?

Is it the serrated sepals
Which waltz in the wind
That pull the insect
To hug the flower?

Is it the waking sun
That lights the flowerbed
Which directs the insect
To hit its gold?

Is it thoughtful Nature
With procreative instincts
That brings the duo
To a nuptial duet?

Or isn’t it?
