POEMS :

WILL MORNING EVER COME?

A Still night ponders
the quietude of my being
Amazed, utterly distraught
At the encircling claws
of darkness

Moths and fire-flies
Oblivious of my state
Perch blindly on the silhouette
As if they cannot see
What the blind night can see
In the blinding realm of life

The children are sleeping
And the men and women mumbling
Soon mama will bang the door
And silence will reign
Till day-break
But when will my day break?
