Martin Akpan is a 1983 graduate of the University of Nigeria. A community mobilizer, pacifist, public speaker, Anti-Aids campaigner and advocate of global justice. Akpan speaks and writes with a crusader’s undying candour and passion. His published works include Brainwaves At Dawn, Mixed Strokes and The Crumb Eaters, adjudged his magnum opus.
Sogbeye Tonye George lives in Uyo, Nigeria with his family. He is the medical Director of Eastside Clinic, Uyo as well as the founding Registrar of ISDL. A football euthusiast, George is a regular football commentator on AKBC Television.
Bassey Umoetuk is a graduate of the University of Port-Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria. A motivational speaker and raconteur, he is a past Editor-in-Chief of MEDILINK, a News Magazine of the Akwa Ibom State branch of the Nigerian Medical Association. Dr Babbs (as he is fondly called) is the author of NIGHT TIME VISION, a poetry collection
Wale Okediran is the National President, Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA). A prolific writer, he is well known for his numerous short stories, essays and novels which have been published at home and abroad. These include:
The Boys At The Border, The Weaving Looms, Dreams Die At Twilight and The Rescue Of Uncle Babs which won the 1998 ANA prize for children’s Literature.
Okediran served as a member of Nigeria’s House of Representatives 2003 – 2007.
